The reproducible math (our planning policy)

Crew-hours = base person-hours × severity multiplier × size factor. Severity multipliers: Passable 1, Slows hikers 1.25, Impassable 1.5, Safety hazard 2. Size factor = measurement / reference size, bounded to 0.5-4; without a verified or leader-provided reference, no size scaling is applied.

Priority = severity weight × window urgency × weather boost / unrounded crew-hours. Weights: 1, 3, 6, 10. Urgency = min(3, 1 + 30 / (days left + 1)); overdue = 3; unknown = 1. Matching verified weather trigger boosts by 1.5, never more. Unknown hours cannot produce a score: those tasks are listed first for leader review. Ties break on severity, then mile, then stable finding ID.

Volunteer total is the largest verified task crew (sequential work), not simultaneous staffing. Partial hour totals exclude unverified tasks. A dry forecast does not mean safe or workable soil. Notify the land manager about safety hazards immediately, regardless of rank or window.

Will my land manager accept this?＋

It is a readable condition report, not a substitute for a required agency form or a certified inspection. Ask your land manager which fields and reporting channel they require. Review the draft before sending it.

Where do the crew-hour numbers come from?＋

Only a verified task-specific public norm or your explicit base-hour estimate. The field guide links supporting sources. Fixed severity and size multipliers are our visible planning policy. Unknown inputs remain unverified rather than being filled by AI.

What happens when the research is wrong?＋

Your local judgment wins. Edit a finding and override its hours, crew, tools, and dates. Overrides are labeled as your estimates. Public guidance refreshes every seven days; if a refresh fails, the last cache is shown with a staleness warning.

Does the calendar work in Google and Apple Calendar?＋

Season Pack exports a standard .ics file with all-day events and a two-week DISPLAY reminder. Import the file into your calendar and review its notification settings: some calendar apps ignore imported alarms. Reminders for events less than two weeks away are already in the past. Reimport behavior varies, so check for duplicates.

What happens to my sweeps if I do not pay?＋

Your current draft stays in this browser’s localStorage, not a private cloud account. Clearing browser data or switching devices loses that local draft. Copy the report before you leave. Creating a public share link stores that report snapshot so anyone with the link can read it. Season Pack adds private saved-sweep history.

Can I use this to decide whether a bridge is safe?＋

No. This is an observation and planning tool, not an engineering assessment, sawyer qualification, or permission to carry out work. Report safety hazards directly to your land manager and use qualified people and your organization’s procedures.
